By accessing and using Calori, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Calori. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may only use the service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for your use of the service.

3. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily use Calori for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• modify or copy the materials
• use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on Calori
• remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3.1. User Accounts and Authentication

To access certain features of Calori, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information during registration
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2. Third-Party Authentication

Calori offers authentication through third-party services including Google OAuth. By using these services, you agree to:

• Comply with the terms of service of the third-party authentication provider
• Grant Calori permission to access your basic profile information
• Understand that your authentication is subject to the third-party provider's privacy policies

4. Health and Nutrition Disclaimer

Calori does not provide medical advice, nutritional counseling, or professional health services. All calorie estimates, nutritional information, and food identifications — including those generated by AI — are automated approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

• Calorie and nutrition estimates are approximations only
• The service is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition
• You should consult a licensed physician, dietitian, or other qualified professional before making dietary or medical decisions
• Calori is not liable for inaccuracies in calorie counts, nutrition data, or food identification

5. User Content

Certain features allow you to upload content such as food photos, progress photos, voice recordings, and text. You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you represent that you own it or have the necessary rights to it, and you grant Calori a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and analyze that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the service, including improving our food-recognition and AI features.

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, or infringing, and not to upload images of other individuals without their consent.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, whose terms govern payment processing, renewals, and refunds. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

7. Disclaimer

The materials on Calori are provided on an 'as is' basis. Calori makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

8. Limitations

In no event shall Calori or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Calori, even if Calori or a Calori authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

9. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on Calori could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Calori does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current.

Some product information is sourced from Open Food Facts. The Open Food Facts database is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL); individual database contents are available under the Database Contents License, and product images are available under CC BY-SA 3.0. © Open Food Facts contributors.

10. Links

Calori has not reviewed all of the sites linked to our website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Calori of the site.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you violate these terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these terms immediately cease.

12. Modifications

Calori may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state or location.
