Summary
- To use Calori — the iOS, Android, watch, and web applications, together with Calori AI, Calori Live, Calori Chef, and Calori Agent (together, Calori or the Applications) — you must understand and agree to the terms below. If you do not understand or disagree with these terms, do not use the Applications. Using Calori means that you accept these Disclaimer Terms.
- Calori provides educational health, nutrition, and activity information. It does not replace medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or personalised professional nutrition counselling.
- Estimates, targets, scores, insights, and suggestions — including those generated by AI from photos, voice, text, barcodes, or your logs — are approximations. They may be incomplete or wrong.
- Your safety comes first. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to how you eat, fast, exercise, sleep, or take supplements or medication.
- Changing your diet, body weight, or physical activity carries inherent risks. You accept those risks when you use Calori.
Important clarifications
This disclaimer applies to Calori and every related service we offer. You must agree to these Disclaimer Terms to use the Applications. If you disagree with or do not understand any of them, do not use the Applications. By using the Applications, you agree to be legally bound by these Disclaimer Terms. Capitalised words are defined at the end of this document.

Limitations of Calori’s information and feedback
- Through the Applications we provide information, estimates, and feedback for educational and general information purposes only.
- Calori is not a medical organisation and our staff cannot give you medical advice. Nothing in the Applications — including visualisations, scores, readiness or strain cards, nutrient targets, meal ideas, or chat replies — is a substitute for consultation, evaluation, or treatment by a qualified medical professional. Calori is not intended to diagnose, manage, treat, or cure any disease or medical condition. The information is non-medical and is not specific to any individual as a clinical assessment. Consult a healthcare professional about any issue or question that concerns your health.
- Information and feedback are based on what you and your connected health platforms enter, not on a medical examination, a review of your health history, or an individual diet or exercise assessment. This is not medical advice, medical nutrition therapy, or individual nutrition counselling. The Owner cannot guarantee that any information or feedback is suitable for you.
- Calori does not provide medical advice or medical nutrition therapy. Even when numbers look personalised from your inputs, they are not a substitute for individual evaluation or treatment by a healthcare professional. Calori and the Owner cannot guarantee the safety or nutritional adequacy of your dietary intakes.
- Food identification, calories, macros, and micronutrients — including AI estimates from photos, voice, or text, barcode lookups, and catalogue data — are automated approximations. Always check the label or a trusted source when accuracy matters, especially for allergens.
- Calori AI, Calori Live, Calori Chef, and Calori Agent can discuss food, targets, fasting, labs you have logged, and similar topics. They are software, not clinicians. They do not prescribe medication or GLP-1 doses, interpret labs as a diagnosis, or replace a doctor, dietitian, or therapist.
- Logged workouts, steps, sleep, heart rate, and similar activity data are records and estimates, not a prescribed training, rehabilitation, or medical-monitoring programme. Calori does not supervise your form, equipment use, or whether an activity is safe for you.
- Biomarkers, cycle tracking, and other wellness logs are tools for recording values you already have. They are not laboratory services and not a diagnosis. Camera pulse and similar device features are not medical devices and are no more reliable than counting a pulse by hand.
- Software safety rails (for example calorie floors or refusing a weight-loss goal when body-mass index is below a healthy range) are automatic limits. They are not medical clearance and they do not make a target safe for you.
Consulting healthcare professionals
- Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions or changing dietary habits, exercise habits, fasting, dietary supplement use, medication, or any other health-related behaviour.
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, using medication (including GLP-1 or other metabolic medication), or have any medical condition, disease, or disorder related to nutrition, metabolism, or how you see your body — including a current or past eating disorder — talk to a qualified healthcare professional before you start using Calori and keep checking in with them while you use it.
- Consult a qualified professional before beginning any new workout, increasing training volume or intensity, or doing unfamiliar physical activity.
- If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must consent to your use of Calori and should involve a clinician in any calorie, weight, or training decisions.
User responsibility and discretion
- We may show guidelines, targets, and suggestions. You are responsible for your health decisions. Use your own judgement and consult healthcare professionals when those decisions matter.
- Calori is intended for generally healthy people. It does not fully account for injuries, movement restrictions, cardiovascular limits, allergies, medications, or other medical conditions, even when you choose to record them.
- Use reasonable caution with any physical activity: proper form, an appropriate starting level, and avoiding strenuous exercise alone or unsupervised when that would be unwise. If you feel dizzy, faint, in pain, or short of breath, stop and seek medical attention.
- You are responsible for verifying allergens, ingredients, and nutrition against the physical label or a qualified professional before you eat something that could harm you.
Service availability
The Applications’ Services are offered only in jurisdictions where they may be legally offered.
Information accuracy
- We aim to be helpful. The details we share are based on the information we have. Treat them as a starting point, not the final word.
- We cannot guarantee that information in the Applications is always complete, up to date, accurate, reliable, suitable, or available.
User eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Calori. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be responsible for your use of the service.
- Calori is designed for generally healthy people. It is not appropriate as the sole tool for treating a medical condition, recovering from an eating disorder, or managing a clinically prescribed diet or training plan.
- If a healthcare professional has told you not to track calories, restrict intake, fast, or exercise, do not use Calori to do those things.
Your agreement
By using Calori, you agree not to hold Calori Limited, together with its officers, partners, affiliates, representatives, employees, and agents, responsible for any liability, expense, or claim for damages — including legal fees — arising from or caused by your use of the Applications.
Understanding and accepting the risks
You recognise, understand, and accept that changing your diet, body weight, fasting pattern, or physical activity carries risks, including injury, overexertion, nutrient inadequacy, and other physical harm. You understand that using the Applications involves those risks. You knowingly and voluntarily accept, and assume responsibility for, each of these risks and any others that could arise from use of the Applications. Any use of the Applications means you have agreed to these Disclaimer Terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
If there is any legal issue arising out of or related to these Disclaimer Terms, the matter shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Spain. By using the Applications, you waive objections to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Regardless of where you use the Applications, these Disclaimer Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Changes to this disclaimer
We may modify these Disclaimer Terms at any time without prior notice. You are encouraged to review them periodically.
Privacy
How we collect, use, and protect personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
