Paniyaram all’avena, ricetta del paniyaram piccante all’avena con foto passo passo. Un’alternativa gustosa, piccante e più sana ai paniyaram tradizionali.

Ingredienti

  • 3/4 cup Oats (I used quick cook)
  • 1/4 cup Toor dal
  • 1/4 cup Chana dal
  • 1 tbsp Urad dal
  • 1 tbsp Moong dal
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 6 Red chillies
  • 1 tsp Fennel seed (or cumin seeds)
  • 1 Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 Curry leaves (sprig)
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables (finely chopped Carrot, cabbage (Optional))
  • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • Salt

Preparazione

    Soak dals together for 2-3 hrs.

    Take oats, red chillies, fennel and ginger in a mixer and blend until all get powdered well.

  3. 3

    Add the soaked dal to this and grind coarsely(like broken wheat texture),add little water while grinding.

    Mix enough water to get pouring consistency.

    Add chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and asafoetida. Mix well.

    Heat paniyaram pan, grease it with oil and spoon the batter, cook covered in medium flame.

    Flip and cook until it evenly turns golden brown. Drizzle oil whenever necessary/desired.
