    Add the rinsed brown basmati rice, water (or vegetable broth), oil, and salt to the Instant Pot steel insert. Give the mixture a quick stir.Securely close the lid and set the vent to "SEALING". Then, choose the PRESSURE COOK/MANUAL (High Pressure) setting and adjust the cooking time to 22 minutes.

    When the Instant Pot beeps, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, and then open the lid.Use a fork or ladle to fluff up the rice. Do not stir.
