Questa è una ricetta base per la pasta sfoglia veloce, chiamata anche sfoglia grezza, facile o blitz. Una volta cotto, l'impasto ricorda la pasta sfoglia tradizionale per friabilità e strati, ma non si gonfia altrettanto. È molto adatto a preparazioni sagomate come girandole e fagottini, a dolci come i millefoglie e anche come base per torte salate o galette.
