Patate al forno con la buccia

Le patate cotte al forno con la buccia, note anche come baked potatoes, sono un piatto classico e sostanzioso da gustare tutto l’anno. Per ottenere una buccia perfettamente croccante e un interno soffice, bisogna cuocere le patate ad alta temperatura dopo averle passate nell’acqua salata. Questo metodo aggiunge sapore ed elimina l’umidità in eccesso dalla buccia, rendendola deliziosamente croccante. Una volta cotte, le patate possono essere servite con diversi condimenti e diventano così un pasto versatile per ogni occasione. Puoi scegliere condimenti classici come burro, formaggio e fagioli, oppure tonno e maionese, o opzioni più creative come il chili con carne.
Ingredienti
- 4 Baking Potatoes
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 225 ml Warm Water
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Preparazione

Oven: Preheat the oven 210°C fan/230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8

Pierce: Use a fork to pierce the skin a few times on each potato

Stir: In a large bowl, stir the salt in with the warm water until it dissolves.

Roll each potato into the salted water to coat the skin.

Place onto a baking tray, a tray with a rack works best.

Cook: Place the baking tray into the oven at 210°C fan/230°C/450°F/Gas Mark 8 for 50 minutes.Time may vary depending on potato size our baking potatoes weighed approx 300 grams each. Adjust time to suit the size of your potato.

Oil: After 50 minutes, remove from the oven. Brush over the potato skins with olive oil using a silicone brush.

Cook: Return the tray to the oven and cook for 20 minutes longer, to crisp off the skin.

Remove from oven and serve immediatly.

Cut open each potato and add your favorite toppings.
