  • 8 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 to 5 sprigs fresh thyme

  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • scallions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)

Preparazione

  1. 1

Remove the parsley leaves from the stems and finely chop them. Finely dice the onion, mince the garlic, and chop the scallions.

  2. 2

Heat the butter and olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.

  3. 3

Add the onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until softened and translucent.

  4. 4

Stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

  5. 5

Add the rinsed rice and stir for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly toasted and coated in the butter.

  6. 6

Stir in the chicken bouillon, salt, white pepper, and chili flakes. Keep stir frying.
