Ingredients

  • 400 gr minced meat (half beef - half chicken or all beef)
  • 4 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp sliced of parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 pips garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • All purpose flour
  • Olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, chopped
  • 5 pips garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried basil flakes
  • 2 celery stick, puree
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 cup mushrooms slices (optional)
  • 300 ml tomato paste
  • Broth or water
  • Salt and sugar to taste.
  • Chopped parsley leaves
  • Shredded cheese

    Mix all the ingredients except flour and oil.

    Form into some pingpong balls.

    Coat them thinly with all purpose flour.

    Heat up a bit olive oil on pot, then put them on. Cook until nice brown color. Safe aside.

    In the same pot (no need to be washed), saute the onion and garlic until translucent.

    Add tomato paste, water, celery puree and basil. Stir it.

    Add the carrot, then bring to boil.

    Put the meatballs back to the pot, then add the seasonings.

    Bring to boil, then turn off the heat.

    Sprinkle the toppings. Served.
