- 150 g semi-soft cheese (e.g., manchego or comté)
- 1 small soft cheese (e.g., camembert or a goat cheese log)

- 2 tbsp runny honey
- 75 g walnuts, lightly toasted
- 1 bunch of blue or red grapes
- A handful of crackers or thinly sliced baguette
- Fresh rosemary or thyme, for garnish
Instructions

Take the cheeses out of the fridge at least 30 minutes beforehand. This lets the flavours come into their own.Slice the hard cheese (such as aged Gouda or Parmesan) into thin slices or break it into irregular pieces. Cut the semi-soft cheese (such as manchego or brie) into small wedges. Leave soft cheeses like camembert or a goat cheese log whole for a nice effect.Arrange the cheeses spread out on the board. Start with the largest pieces and fill the gaps with the smaller cheeses. Make sure each cheese is clearly visible.Place small bowls or spoons with fig jam and runny honey around the board. Drizzle a little honey directly over the soft goat cheese for an immediate flavour pairing.Scatter the walnuts and fresh grapes into the open spaces. Add a handful of fresh rosemary or thyme for garnish and a subtle herbal aroma.Place a selection of crackers or thin slices of baguette along the side of the board or serve them separately in a basket.Serve the board straight away and let your guests mix and match. That's exactly the magic of a great cheese board.
