📝 Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 60 g flour
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 30 g grated Parmesan
  • Olive oil (spray or brush)
  • For the dip:
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • A few drops lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Cut the chicken breast into even pieces of about 3 by 3 centimetres.Prepare three bowls: one with flour (seasoned with salt, pepper and paprika powder), one with the beaten eggs and one with the breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan.Coat each piece of chicken first in the flour, then in the egg and finally thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs firmly so they stick.Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.Place the nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer. Lightly spray them with olive oil from a spray bottle or brush them with a little oil. Cook them 10 minutes at 200°C.Turn the nuggets halfway through the cooking time so they become nicely golden brown and crispy on both sides.Meanwhile make the honey-mustard dip: mix the mayonnaise, mustard, honey and a few drops of lemon juice well. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.Check that the chicken nuggets are cooked through (internal temperature at least 75°C). Serve immediately with the dip and a scatter of fresh parsley.
