Thanksgiving turkey with maple syrup

This Thanksgiving turkey is rubbed with seasoned butter and maple syrup for rich flavor and a beautiful color. A festive main course that always makes an impression at the table.

- 1 turkey (4 to 5 kg)
- 300 g butter
- 300 g maple syrup
- salt & pepper

1. Preheat the oven to 150 C. 2. Pat the turkey dry with a tea towel. 3. Make sure the butter is semi-soft and mix it with salt and freshly ground pepper. Spread the butter both on the outside and under the skin of the turkey. 4. Next brush the maple syrup over the turkey and put the turkey in the oven for 70 to 100 minutes. When the turkey reaches 71 C internally, it's done and ready to eat!Enjoy your meal!
