Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Turkey
  • 1 med Onion (diced)
  • 1 large Sweet Potato (peeled and diced)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 can Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 cup Chicken Bone Broth
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 TBSP Tomato Paste (optional)
  • Fresh Cilantro

Instructions

    Brown the ground turkey with the diced onions.

    Add garlic and all seasonings and cook together for about 30 seconds.

    Add your diced sweet potatoes, beans, and tomatoes. Stir well.

    Add your bone broth.

    Bring to a boil and then cover and simmer for at least 40 minutes. You want your sweet potatoes to be tender.
