  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/3 cup neutral vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 + 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant milk)
