How to make Onion Pakoda

Ingredients
- 3 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 3-4 stem Curry leaves
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 1 tbsp grated garlic
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/2 turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1.5 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp msg (optional)
- 1/4 cup 2 tbsp Ice Water
- Oil for deep frying
- 100 ml Yougurt
- 3 tbsp thai sweet chili sauce (optional)
- 5-6 Mint leaves
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Pakoda: Combine all the ingredients except water and oil. toss well, make sure onion coated evenly with the flour

Add water, mix well

Heat oil in a medium deep pan, form mixture into small balls and fry them into the hot oil over medium heat
- 5
Fry them in batches until golden brown and crispy, (do not over crowd the pan)

Drain pakoda onto a wire rack
- 7
Dipping sauce: Blend all the dipping sauce ingredients and transfer into a sauce bowl

Serve pakoda while hot and crispy with the sauce
