Creamy Turkey Fricassee

Made with tender turkey meat, mushrooms, and a rich, creamy sauce, this dish is perfect for a comforting dinner on a chilly night. You can enjoy as is or, to serve it as a side dish near a piece of meat or fish.
Ingredients
- 26 oz Turkey Thighs
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon Thyme
- 1 lb Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Broth
- 1 cup Light Cream (20%)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions

Melt the butter together with a little bit of oil.

Fry the turkey thighs in the melted butter. Set it aside.

Caramelize the onions in the butter that you just fried the turkey meat.

Add mushrooms. Cook them for 5-7 minutes.

Add chopped garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add flour and mix well.

Add the broth, and the spices. Mix well.

Add the meat into the saucepan. Let everything to cook on low heat for 35-40 minutes.
