Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- 2
Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- 3
Stir in minced garlic, tomato paste, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- 4
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni, beef broth, and milk to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- 5
Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
- 6
Remove from heat. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Serve hot.
