Ingredients

  • 4-5 medium-sized potatoes (aloo)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 2 finely chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder (Lal Mirch powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 2-3 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves

Instructions

    Take 4-5 boiled potatoes. Here, I have boiled potatoes in a pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles

    Peel and chopped the potatoes in cubes

    Heat the pan with 3 tablespoons of oil and add 1 ½ teaspoon cumin seeds

    Fry cumin till it crackles

    Add 2 finely chopped green chillies and sauté for a minute

    Turn the flame on low and add ½ teaspoon red chilli powder

    Now add boiled potato cubes

    Mix the Potatoes very well. Make sure potatoes get coated with jeera

    Add salt to taste and mix well

    Further, add ½ teaspoon lemon juice

    Now add ¼ teaspoon sugar and stir gently

    Lastly, add 2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
