Sayur Godog Betawi (Sunda)stewed vegetables in a spicy sauceBahan-bahan:ingredients:1 labu siam / chayote1 bunch long/snake beans2 potatoes200 gr beef (breast steak)3 salam leaf5 cm lengkuas/laos/galangal300 ml coconut milk (from 1/2 coconut)500ml water2 tbsp oilHaluskan:bumbu:5 shallots4 cloves of garlic4 red lomboks3 kemiri nuts1 tsp terasi/trasi2 tsp palm sugar1 tsp saltCara membuat:preparation:Cut the chayote into small cubes. Cut the long beans into small pieces. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Pound or grind the ingredients for the bumbu into a paste.Heat the water in a pan with the meat and cook until tender. Remove the meat from the pan and cut it into small pieces. Then add it back to the broth.Heat in a pan the oil and fry the bumbu together with the salam and the lengkuas for 5 minutes and add it to the stock and bring to the boil.Then add the chayote, long beans, potatoes and coconut milk and cook until done. Serve.
