Hamburger Pie

Hamburger Pie with seasoned ground beef and a cheesy biscuit layer - also called impossible cheeseburger pie - is a family favorite, easy recipe that is perfect for those busy weeknights when you need something quick and satisfying.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef ((I use 93/7))
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 3 garlic cloves ((minced or pressed, chopped, paste))
- 2 teaspoons hamburger seasoning
- 1 cup bisquick
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups shredded medium cheddar cheese
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
- 2
In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the ground beef and onions until softened and the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- 3
Stir in the garlic cloves and hamburger seasoning, and cook for 1 minute.
- 4
Transfer the ground beef mixture to the prepared pie plate and spread it into an even layer in the bottom.
- 5
In a medium mixing bowl, stir the bisquick, milk, and eggs until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture over top the beef filling in the pie plate.
- 6
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over top.
- 7
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the pie is golden brown.
- 8
Let the hamburger pie set for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
