Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole is the casserole version of classic chicken cordon bleu with tender chicken, ham, and a creamy swiss cheese sauce come together under a buttery cracker topping. This cozy casserole delivers that familiar, elegant taste without any of the fuss of rolling or breading.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 can (10 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup half and half
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 8 ounces ham ((slices or diced))
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers ((measure after crushing))
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly spray a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- 2
In a large bowl, stir together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, half and half, sour cream, and dried seasonings until well combined. Transfer the mixture into the casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
- 3
Sprinkle the ham (or lay the ham slices) over top, and then layer the slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham.
- 4
In a small bowl, mix together the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter until evenly combined and the mixture resembles wet sand. Spread the cracker mixture over top the cheese slices in an even layer.
- 5
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- 6
Remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to sit for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
