📝 Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa powder (sifted)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter (plus more for rolling balls)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • Mini paper muffin cups (found in grocery baking aisle)
  • Sprinkles of your choice (I recommend chocolate and rainbow!)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1In a small sauce pan set to medium-low heat, mix condensed milk, cocoa powder, butter and salt.
  2. 2Cook mixture, stirring constantly (this is important, otherwise it will burn!) until it thickens, about 7 to 9 minutes. Run your spoon in the middle of the mixture. If it moves slowly, then it has thickened enough.
  3. 3Pour mixture into a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Pour sprinkles into a bowl or plate.
  5. 5Once the mixture is cool, remove from the refrigerator and prepare your mini paper cups. Grease your hands with butter. Roll the mixture into little balls. (about half a tablespoon - or, as big or small as you'd like!)
  6. 6Roll the brigadeiro balls into the sprinkles. Place each in a mini paper muffin cup.
  7. 7Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  8. 8Enjoy!
