This Teriyaki salmon recipe is simple to make and absolutely packed with flavor. Juicy, flaky and delicious every time.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 lb (500g) salmon fillets
- 1 cup homemade teriyaki sauce
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Pre-heat the oven to 430°F/220°C.
- 2Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk until the cornstarch is incorporated then set over medium-high heat.
- 3Allow the sauce to come to a boil and cook for 5 minute until the sauce has thickened.
- 4Line a sheet pan or baking dish with parchment paper to make clean-up easier - the teriyaki sauce will caramelize and burn while cooking.
- 5Pat the salmon filets dry with paper towels then place in the prepared tray, skin side down.
- 6Brush over the teriyaki sauce liberally.
- 7Place the salmon in the pre-heated oven and allow to bake for 7-10 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the sauce has caramelized.
- 8Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions (optional) then serve.
