  • 7-8 cups broccoli florets*
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 1/4 cup tamari (or soy sauce)
  • 3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup (or brown sugar)
  • 1/3 cup vegetable broth or water
  • 2 tsp. rice vinegar
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tsp. ginger, freshly grated

  2. 2Cut broccoli into bite-sized florets. Slice carrots on a diagonal.
  3. 3In a large pan over medium-high heat, add broccoli, carrots, and 1/3 cup water. Cover and let steam/sauté for about 6-7 minutes or until veggies are crisp-tender. (Stir occasionally and add a splash more liquid if needed.)

  5. 5Serve with cooked rice/quinoa and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
