Hot Shrimp Dip

This cheesy hot Shrimp Dip with Bacon with juicy shrimp and three types of cheese is a showstopper on your party appetizer menu.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound Shrimp (cleaned)
- 2 teaspoon Old bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper ((or adjust as per taste))
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt ((or adjust as per taste))
- 6 ounce Sour Cream ((at room temperature))
- 6 ounce Cream Cheese ((at room temperature))
- 2 cups Cheese ((blend of cheddar and mozzarella) )
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 3 tablespoon chopped Chiv/green onion

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a small cast iron skillet or heatproof dish with non-stick spray.

Roughly chop shrimp into medium-sized pieces. Each shrimp into 2-3 pieces.

Heat butter in a small ovenproof cast iron skillet pan. Add chopped shrimp and old bay seasoning.

Cook shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque.

In a bowl add Cream cheese, shredded cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, smoked paprika, flour, pepper and chopped green onion. ( Add very little salt as rest of the ingredients already have salt in them). Mix everything (use a hand blender to whisk well). Fold in the cooked shrimp along with any liquid in it.

Use the same Iron skillet used to cook shrimp or a small ovenproof casserole dish, shift the shrimp cheese mix.

Bake in a pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes until bubbly around the edges.

Garnish with chive/green onion and a good sprinkle of old bay seasoning while serving.
