Pork tenderloin is baked in a sweet, smokey glaze made of BBQ and other savory sauces. An easy recipe is done in 40 minutes flat out.

📝 Ingredients

  • 1.5 pound pork tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup Bbq sauce
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1--- Prep ---
  2. 2Preheat your oven to 400F and move the rack to the middle position.
  3. 3Prep the tenderloins by cutting off any excess fat and the tough white skin. Pat the tenderloins dry with a kitchen towel. Place it in a baking tray or baking dish.
  4. 4--- Apply Dry Rub and Bake ---
  5. 5Mix all the ingredients mentioned for the dry rub. Rub the mixture all over the tenderloin ( on both sides).
  6. 6Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. 7--- Make BBQ glaze and Bake again ---
  8. 8While the pork is in the oven, make BBQ glaze. mix bbq sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, olive oil, brown sugar, Worcestershire Sauce, garlic, salt, and cayenne (if using).
  9. 9When the 15 minutes are done, remove the pork. Brush the bbq glaze generously. Bake in upper third of the oven and bake for another 10 minutes or until the pork has reached 145.
  10. 10--- Let Pork Rest ---
  11. 11Once done, remove the baking dish. Loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil and let it rest for 8-10 minutes.
  12. 12--- Brush the glaze and Serve ---
  13. 13Place the remaining BBQ sauce in a microwave-safe bowl or a saucepan. Add a tablespoon of water. Microwave it for 1 minute in a 30-second burst. Or if using a saucepan, let it some to a low simmer and then remove from heat.
  14. 14Brush the above glaze on the tenderloin before serving.
  15. 15Slice and serve with your favourite side.
