Made with wholesome ingredients like cannellini beans, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, this easy dip comes together in minutes. It’s like a white bean hummus - a quick chop, fry, and simple blend are all it takes! Serve it as a delicious dip for veggies or crackers, or spread it on sandwiches and wraps for extra flavour. Perfect for a healthy snack, appetizer, or meal prep.

📝 Ingredients

  • 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 cup cooked cannellini beans
  • 1/4 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh chives

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Heat the oil in a medium pan over high heat. Cook the onion for 4 minutes, or until golden.
  2. 2Add the garlic and cook for another couple of minutes, until fragrant.
  3. 3Add the cooked onion, garlic, and all remaining ingredients, excluding the chives, to a food processor and blend until smooth.
  4. 4Stir in the chives by hand.
  5. 5Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight to allow the flavours to meld. Drizzle with olive oil and a bit of balsamic vinegar before serving, if desired.
