Ingredients

  • 10 oz Halibut filets (2 filets, skin off)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp thyme (fresh, chopped)
  • 1 tbsp dill (fresh, chopped)
  • 1/2 lemon (juice only)

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the Halibut filets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle each filet with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

Fire up the grill to medium-high heat around 400℉.

  3. 3

Place filets carefully on the grill. You want to flip the filets only once while cooking, around the 5-7 minute mark.

  4. 4

Baste several times with the lemon garlic sauce while cooking.

  5. 5

Once the internal temperature of the fish reaches 140°F remove carefully from the grill.

  6. 6

Serve immediately while still hot with some of the reserved sauce.
