Chicken Franks Curry (Sausage Curry)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken franks
  • 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (To fry chicken franks)
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil ( for rest of curry)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 cup water (warm water)
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger

Instructions

    Cut chicken franks into small pieces and fry in a pan until golden brown. Set aside. (Fry 2-3 mins on a medium-high heat.)

    Heat oil in a pan.

    Sauté onions until softened.

    Add minced ginger-garlic and spices (cumin, coriander, turmeric, and red chili powder.) Cook for 2-3 minutes.

    Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

    Add water, cover, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.

    Then, add fried chicken franks and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
