Masala egg fried rice is a delicious and easy-to-make dish perfect for any meal of the day. This dish is a great way to use leftover rice and can be prepared in under 30 minutes.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup frozen vegetables
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves chopped garlic
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp Ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (dark soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp chopped dill
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- 2Once hot, add garlic and sauté until the garlic is slightly brown.
- 3Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
- 4Add the frozen vegetables and saute until they're slightly tender.
- 5Next, add the eggs and scramble them with the vegetables. Add spices and pepper and let it cook for 2-3 minutes..
- 6Add the cooked rice and mix everything.
- 7After that, add soy sauce and combine everything well.
- 8Add salt to taste. Turn off the heat and remove the pan from the heat.
- 9Garnish with dill or fresh coriander leaves for added freshness.
