Roast beef with fried potatoes

📝 Ingredients
- 600 g potatoes, waxy
- 1 onion
- oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch paprika powder
- 400 g Roast beef- left from this recipe
- some horesradish
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1First wash the potatoes
- 2Cook the potatoes in a large pot with a lid for about 20 minutes—if you have large potatoes, it can of course take a little longer
- 3Poke a potato with a fork and see if they are done
- 4Strain the potatoes into a sieve and let the steam evaporate
- 5Peel the potatoes and grate them into small pieces with a mandolin
- 6Heat a pan with oil and sauté the potatoes until crisp
- 7Meanwhile, peel and finely chop an onion
- 8Add the onion to the potatoes and sauté
- 9Season generously with salt and pepper and add the paprika
- 10Keep stirring and in the meantime:
- 11Take the roast beef out of the fridge and cut into wafer-thin slices
- 12Place the roast beef and roast potatoes on 2 plates
- 13Put some more salt & pepper on the roast beef
- 14Add a dab of horseradish if you like
- 15Enjoy your meal!
