Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups of milk
  • 5 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder (sieved)
  • 3/4 cup of cornflour
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Combine cornflour, unprocessed cocoa powder, and milk in a bowl, whisking until they’re well mixed. Next, in a saucepan, blend milk and granulated sugar, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  2. 2

Strain the chocolate mixture into the saucepan with the milk and sugar, stirring continuously on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until it thickens.

  3. 3

Transfer the thickened mixture into a loaf tin, dessert cup or ramekin, covering it with parchment paper. Allow the pudding to cool and set by chilling it for a minimum of 4 hours.

  4. 4

After the pudding has set, remove the parchment paper and carefully loosen the pudding’s edges with a knife. Invert the loaf tin, dessert cup or ramekin onto a plate.

  5. 5

Finish off by dusting the top with cocoa powder, and your delectable chocolate pudding is ready to be served.
