Budino al Cioccolato (Italian Chocolate Pudding)

Budino al Cioccolato is a decadent Italian chocolate pudding, made with a few simple ingredients: milk, sugar, butter, dark chocolate and very little flour.The ingredients are first thickened over a low heat, then poured into the mold, where the pudding sets in the refrigerator. This is a very easy and quick recipe to make!

Ingredients

  • 500 ml milk (2 cups, whole and fresh)
  • 150 g chocolate (~5 oz, dark (between 65 % and 70 % cocoa))
  • 100 g granulated sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 80 g butter (2/3 stick, unsulted )
  • 50 g flour (5 tablespoons)

    cool: Finally tap the mold on a surface to remove any air bubbles. Leave it about 30 minutes to cool at room temperature.

    cool: Then refrigerate for at least 2 hours. As it cools, the chocolate budino will thicken completely.
