Paneer sandwich is easy delicious, kid’s favorite sandwich. It can also be a quick fix for a filling tea time snack for your whole family.
📝 Ingredients
- 1.5 cup Paneer (crumbled )
- 8 Sandwich bread slices
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 3 tbsp Carrot (julienne or grated)
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves (chopped )
- 2 Green chilli (finely chopped)
- 3/4 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin seeds powder
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt
- 1/2 tsp Chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
- Butter – to smear
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Keep paneer immersed in hot water firstly, until soft.
- 2Mean while you can prepare the required ingredients.
- 3Crumble the paneer once cooled down.
- 4In a pan, add oil and splutter cumin seeds in low flame.
- 5Add ginger garlic paste and give it a fry.
- 6In goes green chilli, carrot and capsicum. Fry for a minute to cook it but still retains it crunch.
- 7Add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder and salt. Mix well.
- 8Tip in crumbled paneer, coriander leaves and mix for 2 minutes.
- 9Once mixed well, add chaat masala, lemon juice and switch off the flame. Mix well and transfer to a bowl.
- 10Heat a sandwich maker until it is ready (green light goes on) and grease well with butter, both up and down.
- 11Spread the prepared paneer in a bread slice and cover it with another slice.
- 12Place in the sandwich maker and close it.
- 13Once it is golden in colour, take off from the sandwich maker and divide into two to serve.
- 14I used griller plates, so I gave a quick double toast for extra crispy paneer sandwich.
- 15Cut into triangles to serve.
