This Marinated Tuna Steak is juicy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. Fresh tuna steaks are soaked in a bright citrus soy marinade with garlic and herbs, then grilled to perfection. It’s a simple seafood dinner that tastes restaurant-quality but is perfect for home cooks.
📝 Ingredients
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp fresh oregano (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 4 tuna steaks (4-ounce)
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1In a large non-reactive dish, mix together the orange juice, soy sauce, olive oil, parsley, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2Add the tuna steaks and turn them to coat evenly in the marinade.
- 3Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 4Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grates.
- 5Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade and gently shake off excess, reserving the marinade for basting.
- 6Place the tuna steaks on the hot grill and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- 7Flip the steaks, brush with the reserved marinade, and continue grilling for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
