Rich and creamy Chicken Alfredo Linguine, made with tender chicken, silky homemade Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked Linguine. This easy, restaurant-quality dish is ready in under 45 minutes—perfect for weeknights or special occasions!
📝 Ingredients
- 16 oz (500g) Linguine Noodles
- 4 tablespoons Butter
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 2 pounds (1kg) Chicken Breast (cut into strips)
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 cups Heavy Cream (Whipping Cream)
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
- Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
- Zest of a Lemon
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- freshly chopped Parsley (for garnish)
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Cook Linguine - fill a large pot with water and cook Linguine Noodles according to instructions. Pasta should be cooked al dente. Save 1½ cups of Pasta Water before draining. Rinse noodles and set aside.
- 2Sauté - place 4 tablespoons of Butter in a frying pan. Over medium heat, sauté Onions until lightly golden. Stir in Garlic and cook for 1 minute. Set aside.
- 3Prepare Chicken - slice ChIcken Breast into thin strips. Add 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil into a frying pan and fry Chicken until cooked.
- 4Make Sauce - add Sautéed Onions back to frying pan with Chicken. Stir in Heavy Cream, Parmesan Cheese, Lemon Juice, and Lemon Zest. Simmer for 2-3 minutes for flavors to comine.
- 5Add Pasta - gently toss cooked Linguine until coated in the creamy sauce.
- 6Adjust Sauce - slowly pour reserved Pasta Water until desired consistency is reached. Season with Salt and Pepper to taste.
- 7Garnish - sprinkle fresh chopped Parsley and serve with extra Parmesan.
