Chinese Green beans Stir Fry Recipe

This Chinese Green Beans Stir Fry is super quick, super tasty, and perfect with any meal. Stir-fried with garlic, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, it’s savory with a little sweetness—and you can add a splash of water or broth and cover to cook the green beans faster if you’re short on time. It’s one of my favorite easy veggie sides to make on a weeknight!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 12 oz green beans, trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-2 red chili peppers (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sugar (or honey)
- Optional: 1–2 tablespoons water or chicken broth (for steaming)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
