📝 Ingredients

  • 650 g Chicken Thighs (boneless and skinless)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Sesame Seeds (garnish)
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Water

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Slice chicken into bite size cube then season it with salt, pepper and vegetable oil.
  2. 2Skewer the chicken pieces onto the bamboo skewers that have been soaked in water, one skewer contains four pieces. Set aside.
  3. 3For the sauce, combine all the sauce ingredients except cornstarch slurry in a bowl then heat in a pan over medium heat, once boiling add cornstarch slurry, stir and cook until thickened then turn off the heat.
  4. 4Heat grill pan over medium heat then cook the chicken for 5 minutes each side then brush the sauce all over the chicken and cook for 2 minutes each side.
  5. 5Brush again the sauce then cook from 2 minutes each side.
  6. 6Brush for the last time and remove from the grill pan.
  7. 7Garnish with sesame seeds and serve. Enjoy!
