Tamarind Margarita

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz tequila (reposado or blanco)
- 1 1/2 oz tamarind concentrate (or 1 oz tamarind paste)
- 3/4 oz lime juice
- 1/4 oz simple syrup (read notes)
- 1 cup crushed ice
- Chamoy salsa (or other type of Mexican hot salsa)
- Tajín chili powder (or other type of chili powder)
Instructions

Place chili powder (Tajín) in a dish and some hot salsa (Chamoy) on another plate.

Wet the rim of your glass into the hot salsa and then dip it into the chili powder. Set aside.

Place crushed ice in a cocktail shaker.

Pour in tequila, tamarind concentrate, lime juice, and syrup.

Shake until everything is combined.
