Baked Cinnamon Apples are an easy dessert or side dish that's perfect for fall! Tossed with cinnamon and brown sugar and baked to caramely, saucy perfection, this is one you'll want to make over and over again!

📝 Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. assorted sweet tart apples (such as Gala and Honeycrisp) (peeled and sliced 1/8 inch thick)
  • 3 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup apple cider or water

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with the remaining ingredients.
  3. 3Spread the apples out in a 13 x 9 inch casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake for 45 minutes, then remove from the oven, uncover, and stir.
  4. 4Continue to bake for another 15-25 minutes, or until apples are soft and sweet and sauce is thickened and caramelized. Serve by themselves or with ice cream.
