This Baked Pork Tenderloin Recipe is one of our favorite easy dinner ideas! With a simple spice rub and a delicious sauce, this pork tenderloin is juicy and flavorful.
📝 Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (use 1/4 teaspoon if you prefer less salt)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound pork tenderloin
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat oven to 400° F.
- 2In a small bowl, combine the paprika, dried thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir to mix.
- 3Pat the pork tenderloin dry and trim off the silver skin. Rub the spice mixture over all sides of the pork.
- 4Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet* (I used a cast iron skillet) over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork tenderloin to the pan and brown on all sides, 1-2 minutes per side.
- 5Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients: garlic, honey, soy sauce and Dijon mustard.
- 6Transfer the skillet with the pork to the preheated oven and bake for 18 minutes. Then brush or pour the sauce evenly over the pork. Continue baking for 2-7 more minutes, until the internal temperature of the thickest part of the meat registers at least 145° F.* (The total cook time in the oven for the pork tenderloin will be about 20-25 minutes.)
- 7Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
