📝 Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (wide noodles preferred)
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp gochujang (optional)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • toasted sesame seeds
  • green onions (sliced)
  • gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  2. 2While the noodles are cooking, add the oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes to a large nonstick pan over medium heat, stirring until the garlic is fragrant. Stir in the soy sauce, gochujang, and brown sugar.
  3. 3When the noodles are ready, add them directly from the cooking pot to the pan and toss until all the noodles are glossy and coated. Loosen with 1-2 tbsp noodle water if needed. Enjoy!
