📝 Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. 2Season salmon: Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
  3. 3Brush salmon with tarragon sauce: In a small bowl combine the olive oil, lemon juice and dried tarragon. Brush the olive oil lemon mixture generously over the salmon fillets, top and bottom.
  4. 4Bake: Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon is opaque and flaky. If you prefer a bit of golden color over the top, you can broil for 1 to 2 minutes, but be careful as they can burn quickly.
  5. 5Garnish and serve: Garnish with lemon slices if desired and serve.
