Homemade Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce

Homemade Carolina Reaper hot sauce with peach nectar, carrots, lime, and vinegar. A fruity, tangy sauce with serious lingering heat.

Ingredients
- 1 carrot (diced)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 4 Garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp peach nectar
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 5 Carolina reaper chili peppers (chopped, deseeded and deveined)
Instructions

Saute onions, garlic, and carrots for 1-2 minutes.

Add 1/2 cup of water to the pan and bring to a simmer until carrots soften.

Strain the vegetables and add them to a blender.

Add the vinegar, lime juice, nectar, salt, and chili peppers. Blend until smooth.

Transfer hot sauce to bottle and store refrigerated.
