A delicious smoked pork belly recipe made with a dry spice rub and glaze. This is an easy, simple way to make the best tasting meat ever!

📝 Ingredients

  • 5 lbs pork belly
  • 1/4 cup dry rub seasoning
  • 1 cup Jerk BBQ Sauce

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Mix together spices in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. 2Place the pork belly strips in an aluminum pan and season them generously with the dry spice rub. Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  3. 3Remove the belly from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature.
  4. 4Pre-heat smoker to 225 degrees and set-yp for indirect heat.
  5. 5Place the seasoned pork belly on the grill grates and slow cook for four hours.
  6. 6Using the bbq sauce brush the pork belly the last hour of cook time.
  7. 7Remove the finished pork belly off the grill and allow to rest at least 5 minutes before serving.
  8. 8Using a sharp knife cut the pork into desired pieces/cuts.
