📝 Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cups water
  • 1 1/2-2 teaspoons mushroom powder

  • 1 pinch white pepper ( (omit if you don't have it))
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Garnish: sliced scallions, sesame oil, soy sauce

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. 1Mix the eggs well, with the water, mushroom powder, sesame oil, and white pepper. Strain the mixture.
  2. 2Put in your steaming container. (Mine went into 4 Le Creuset ramekins.)
  3. 3Bring water (in the steamer or wok) to a boil, place the containers with the eggs in, cover and steam on high heat for 4 minutes.
  4. 4Reduce to a simmer for 8 minutes over low heat then switch off the fire. Be careful when removing the eggs as the containers are hot!
