Ingredients

  • 3 leeks (, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds, rinsed and drained in colander)
  • 2 thick-cut slices of bacon (, cut into small thin strips)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Slice the leeks into 1/4 inch rounds and then rinse and drain them thoroughly in a colander.

    Cut the bacon into small thin strips.

    In a skillet over medium-high heat, fry the bacon until done.

    Add the leeks, butter, and bacon together and sauté until the leek is tender, about 7-8 minutes.
