Banana Brownies

Banana brownies are super fudgy, with crackly tops and subtle banana sweetness in every bite. It's the perfect way to use up a ripe banana!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup neutral flavored oil (canola, vegetable, avocado)
- 6 oz unsweetened chocolate (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 whole large egg
- 1 mashed banana (approximately 1/3 cup)
- 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350º F. Line an 8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl whisk together melted chocolate and oil until well combined and smooth. Add in sugar, egg, and mashed banana. Mix very well until the egg is fully incorporated.

Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix until the flour is just blended.

Fold in chocolate chips for walnuts until evenly distributed. Pour into prepared baking dish.

Bake for 22-25 minutes until a tester comes out mostly clean.
