Ingredients

  • 2 servings udon noodles (*1)
  • 2 cups dashi stock (*2)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped scallions (*optional)
  • 2 tsp grated ginger (*optional)

    --- Cook Udon noodles ---

    Boil water in a large cooking pot.

    cook udon noodles: Add udon noodles and cook for about 2-3 minutes.

    drain the cooking water: Turn the heat off and drain the udon noodles.

    serve udon noodles: Serve into two noodles bowls.

    boil all ingredients in a sauce pan: Place dashi, soy sauce, mirin and sugar into a sauce pan and bring it to boil.
