Slippery strands of noodles enveloped in a tantalizing blend of sesame and fiery spices, deliver a harmonious kick to your palate.

📝 Ingredients

  • 6 oz dried knife-cut noodles
  • 3 tbsp tahini sauce (or Chinese sesame paste)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar (or Chinese black vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp water (*optional, if you use other type of noodles, you can omit this.)
  • 1 tbsp crisp chili oil ((more if desired))
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • sliced scallion
  • sliced red chilies (*optional)

  1. 11. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Then cook the knife-cut noodles according to the package directions (this takes around 5 to 7 mins).
  2. 22. Add the minced garlic, tahini, rice vinegar, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl. Whisk together until combined.
  3. 33. Check on the noodles and once it is cooked drain the water. Toss them in the soy sauce mixture until it is well coated.
  4. 44. Top the dish with crisp chili oil (taste and adjust the spiciness to your liking), finely chopped scallions or green onions, and red chilies. Garnish with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. Ready to serve warm.
