When it comes to crowd pleasing appetizers, you can't go wrong with some classic buffalo chicken wings. Perfectly tangy with just the right amount of spice, these oven baked wings are finger licking good!
📝 Ingredients
- 2 - 3 lbs chicken wings (wingette & drumette (without the tip))
- 2 Tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 3/4 teapsoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Original Red Hot Sauce
- 2 Tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
👨🍳 Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack over it.
- 2In a large bowl, toss chicken wings with oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
- 3Bake until chicken is golden, and skin is crispy, 45 - 50 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through.
- 4In a small saucepan, whisk together hot sauce, honey and butter. Bring to a simmer and cook until butter is melted and slightly reduced, about 2 minutes.
- 5Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over the wings. Toss to coat evenly.
- 6Serve warm with blue cheese sauce or ranch dressing.
